For the first time this year the Students’ Union has organised a Masters’ Forum to be held on 10th July. This forum is open to all postgraduate taught student representatives, from every school or course across the university. We’ve organised it so you can tell us how your postgraduate experience is going, and to discuss the support you’re being given for summer dissertations/final projects which we can then talk to your schools about to hopefully seek improvements.
We have also invited a handful of university services to the forum to enable you to get advice that’s useful for your dissertation and future career and have your questions answered.
We have invited the University Library Service to talk about the library and research services on offer over summer, Students’ Union Student Advice who can answer questions on complaints, appeals and other academic issues and finally, Careers and Employability, who will be able to talk about the careers support they have on offer for postgrads.
As the room has limited numbers, please accept the calendar invite you will have been sent to your university email address on 6th July if you would like to attend.
