Your VP Postgraduate Students Jake Smith is working with the university to improve PhD office space and the experience of PhD students who teach or demonstrate at Cardiff University (often referred to as Graduate Tutors or Demonstrators).
All PhD students are invited to attend this focus group to discuss what short term and long term improvements need to be made to PhD office space around the university and the status, support and training of postgrads who teach. These focus groups will feed into high level Students’ Union-University partnership groups that will report in May, making recommendations to improve the postgraduate research experience.
Refreshments will be provided, and you can bring your lunch. While it is not required, please register by buying a free ticket so we can judge numbers. If you have any questions about the focus groups please email Jake on VPPostgraduate@cardiff.ac.uk
