Shwmae Sumae day is celebrated throughout Wales to promote the idea of starting every conversation with shwmae or su’mae! The event aims to show that the Welsh language belongs to us all – fluent speakers, learners or those shy about their Welsh. So come along to Y Plas between 11:00 – 13:00 for the chance to practice your Welsh or learn something completely new. It's also a chance for you to meet some of our amazing Welsh Societies including UMCC and Cymdeithas Iolo.
All levels of language ability are welcome from non-Welsh speakers to native speakers!
Mae diwrnod Shwmae Sumae yn cael ei ddathlu ar draws Cymru i hyrwyddo’r syniad o ddechrau pob sgwrs gyda shwmae neu su’mae ! Nod y digwyddiad yw i ddangos fod y Gymraeg yn perthyn i ni gyd – siaradwyr rhugl, dysgwyr neu’r rheini sy’n swil am y Gymraeg. Felly dewch draw i Y Plas yfory rhwng 12:00 – 14:00 am y cyfle i ymarfer eich Cymraeg neu er mwyn sgwrsio ag eraill sy’n dysgu’r iaith. Mae hefyd yn gyfle i chi gwrdd â rhai o'n Cymdeithasau Cymraeg gwych gan gynnwys UMCC a Chymdeithas Iolo.
