Event Information
Come and explore the Brecon Beacons with a hike up the tallest mountain in the range, Pen-y-Fan! The peak is at 880m, and the hike is a 4 mile circular route with an ascent of roughly 450m, beginning and starting from The Storey Arms (an activity centre nearby).
Make sure to wear sturdy footwear and bring warm waterproof clothing as we are in Wales! The route is not difficult so trainers would be suitable but no flip flops...Also bring enough snacks and water to keep you going throughout the afternoon as on the mountain there aren't any shops! We will stop for lunch on the top of the mountain (weather permitting).
The minibus will leave from the Student Union at 11am sharp, and the drive to the hike is roughly 45mins so DON'T BE LATE
We will aim to be back at the Student Union for 18:00
NOTE: There are limited spaces due to the size of the minibus - be quick!
