🚩 Join us at our upcoming 'Capture The Flag' event with BAE Systems!

Starts at 9:30 AM on 25th November in Abacws 1.34/1.39.

Take part in fun challenges with the largest defence contractor in Europe, with lunch, snacks and prizes provided by BAE Systems!

This is a team-based challenge for teams of 2 to 6 players. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry – come along anyway, as teams will be created on the day. The challenges will involve:

• breaking into vulnerable websites
• cracking ciphers
• forensic searches
• reverse engineering, etc.

No previous experience is necessary; they are designed for students who like taking things apart and seeing how they work!

Registration with BAE Systems:

To sign up, please email ctf@baesystems.com from your university email account with the following information:  

• Your full name;
• Your team name (if applicable);
• Your year of study;
• Your course title;

Abacws Access Restrictions:

• Due to school policies, all attendees must visit the facilities team in Abacws 4.71 so you can get your ID Card Updated to access the building on the day.
• You will also need proof of booking to show to Security - the email you got for "buying" your ticket through the SU is the best way to show this!
