One-off volunteering opportunity - drop-in to help the homeless, those below the poverty line and women escaping violence.

Bare Necessities is a student-led project founded by a student. It accepts local donations and donations from across Britain of toiletries, sanitary products, and makeup. These are then unpackaged quality checked and sorted into categories and put into little gift bags ready to go to those who need it most.

This event the donations will be going to:

Women's Aid: which aims to provide life-saving services and build a future where domestic violence is not tolerated.

Salvation Army and purple bus project: The Salvation Army’s Bus Project – a drop-in center in a bus, which serves tea, coffee and sandwiches to homeless people every night in the city center. Also Females in youth hostels.

ACE Cardiff: providing extra items for their food donations.

Venue: Cardiff Volunteering Office - 2nd Floor of the student union, next to Jobshop
