Event Information
On 19 and 20 September, Cardiff University will welcome hundreds of brand new students, who will be flying into Heathrow, Bristol and Cardiff airports, before being bussed to the University. This volunteering opportunity is to support this vital operation by taking on a number of roles including:
Welcoming students as they first arrive and making them feel relaxed and reassured
Moving luggage from the coaches to a storage area, and then into vans to go to halls or into taxis to go to houses
Liaising between taxi drivers and groups of students as necessary to help ensure people are moved on to their accommodation as efficiently as possible
So, if you’re friendly, hard-working and full of energy, come join the International Student Arrivals team. NB. Shifts that run over lunch or dinner time will include food.
