Global Gardens Community Growing Project

Saturday 05 May 2018, 1:30pm - 5pm

Event Information

The Global Gardens community growing project is a Trinity Centre Project, providing support and outreach for refugees and asylum seekers in Cardiff and the surrounding area. Through the shared activities of gardening, cooking and eating the aim of the Global Gardens Project is to bring together refugees, asylum seekers and the local community to work together and celebrate ecological and cultural diversity.

Weekly organic gardening sessions at the Global Gardens allotment site in Heath and a monthly supper at the Embassy Café aim to support those seeking sanctuary, including refugees and asylum seekers. Help in the garden or kitchen and get involved in the Embassy Cafe befriending scheme. You can attend as many Saturdays as you like!

Meet at the Cathays Terrace Tesco at 13.30 to walk to the allotment togeather. Stay at the allotment as long as you like (ends 17:00).
