Following student feedback, we are introducing the second year of our placement support project called ‘Heath Park on Tour’. The aim of this campaign is to support you during your placement experience to grow your student community whilst away from Cardiff. We understand the placement experience can be stressful and we want to do something small to give you the chance to unwind, take a break and meet with fellow Heath Park students in your area!
Heath Park on Tour will see us putting on a series of activities for you, where you are, on placement. These activities will be free and are aimed at bringing you together with other students. Remember to book your free place below, and if you have any more ideas of what you would like us to do get in touch.
On the 21st May we will be visiting our students in Wrexham to head off to Ty Mawr Country Park for a boat ride across the aqueduct, followed by lunch and bowling.
The Students' Union will be paying for lunch, the return bus fares needed from Wrexham to Country Park and the late afternoon bowling. We will be meeting at the main entrance of the hospital in Wrexham at 11am.
Remember this is FREE for all of our Heath Park placement students ONLY!
