Many of you will have done some wonderful things both in academia and in other areas of your life. The problem is seldom are these experience captured anywhere thus they become difficult to recall at critical times such as job interviews. This is where reflection comes in.
In this workshop you'll learn several simple to apply reflection techniques that will help you stay in touch with what you've accomplished where previously there was little to no evidence to show for it. Reflection allows you to "own" your work and when reflected upon, it's as good as if the same positive experiences are re-occurring. Additionally, the value of what you achieved is enhanced as there is no such thing as a trivial task or activity that you carried out. You will then be able to articulate these experiences more fluently and confidently when required to do so.
Please adhere to the following instructions when you've booked our face to face taught workshops:
- Do NOT attend if you have a temperature or are feeling unwell
- Wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitizer provided in the training rooms
- Clean down the surface of desks prior to and after attending the workshops using the substance and cloths provided
- Wear masks throughout the building and if instructed to during the session by the trainer.
