The (BME)+ Book Club Café, has now been running for a year and is aimed at supporting diversity, promoting an open and inclusive environment whilst building helpful constructions of the BME+ student and staff experience. This is a safe space where all members of the University community can come together to explore culturally diverse literature, listen to a range of speakers and engage in lively conversation.
We are pleased to announce the next (BME)+Book Club Café. The second book has been chosen by Fadhila Al Dhahouri and is ‘The Autobiography of Malcom X’ Penguin Modern Classics. Author Malcom X and Alex Haley.
The programme will be opened by:

Including small presentations from a selection of student participants.
