Over the last 12 years The Big Freshers Icebreaker has provided a right of passage between ordinary life and University for over 450,000 students... and now it's your turn.

This is not just an event... It's a tradition. We sell out very far in advance every year, so please make sure to buy your ticket early.

Social Wristband Challenges & Icebreaker Competition: Every ticket comes with an Icebreaker wristband collected on arrival. On each wristband there will be a list of social challenges to complete on the night with your new flatmates, to win PRIZES!

We don't need to tell you how to make friends, but we certainly know how to mix things up and make things interesting!

Advance tickets guarantee you entry until 23:00 after this time tickets will still remain valid however entry will be given depending on venue capacity.

If you are not a Cardiff University student, please bring a copy of the purchase confirmation with you on the night along with valid photo ID.
