Belfast Trip

In November 2019 we took a group of 24 students, joined by two lecturers for a three night stay in Belfast.

As a collective we had the opportunity to visit Stormont, the devolved parliament in Belfast, and meet MLAs from the Sinn Fein Party and the Ulster Unionist Party, Patrick Sheehan and Mike Nesbitt, respectively.

Furthermore, we took part in a walking tour of both sides of the Peace Wall in West Belfast. The group walked through the Republican Falls Road area and the Loyalist Shankill Road area; we found it extremely informative.

The final day saw us visit the Giants Causeway and the Dark Hedges.

Overall, the trip was hugely successful and it was amazing to see all the hard work come together.
