As a new nationwide society, we strongly believe that there is a need for greater nutritional and lifestyle education within medical schools. We want all medical students to graduate feeling confident in giving nutritional advice and with an understanding of the huge benefits that informed lifestyle changes can have on chronic disease.
As well as raising awareness amongst medical students, we want to spread the word to the local community by educating school students about the significant long-term benefits of healthy living and active lifestyles. We’re always looking for students to help with this, so if this is something you’d be interested in then please get in touch!
We aim to run several events throughout the year with guest speakers and workshops… these will cover many aspects of nutrition and wellbeing and will use up-to-date scientific evidence to teach you all things Nutritank!
We run a volunteering scheme called Food For Thought which involves teaching primary school children about a healthy diet.
