The Venues Team are real crowd pleasers, with customer experience at the heart of everything we do. Each year we welcome hundreds of thousands of customers through our doors and we're the one stop shop for student entertainment.

As well as providing a first class food and drink offering and an entertainment calendar full to the brim; we also employ almost 300 part-time student staff. Perhaps most importantly, the work that we do provides funding that goes back into the organisation to help run the many student activities, societies and support services.

Typical Roles

Assistant Head of Venues (Food & Beverage)

With a near 24 hours a day operation, this role is key in keeping things running. They order all stock, develop menus and coordinate training and development for all student staff.

Assistant Head of Venues (Events)

This role organises and oversees the hundreds of events that take place throughout the year. They work with numerous stakeholders to run large scale concerts, conferences and even more popular student club nights.

Venues Office Coordinator (F&B/Events)

The glue holding everyone together, this position provides support for the whole team. From looking after the venue diary to keeping on top of student staff shifts and welfare; the department wouldn't run without them.

The Venues team work around the clock in an extremely fast paced and challenging environment. You must be a confident decision maker and comfortable with a lot of responsibility. We work with a number of high level stakeholders, therefore attention to detail and an eye for organisation are key in delivering everything we do.
