Religion and Belief – Consultation
After years of discussion and planning, Cardiff University has now drafted a policy on Religion and Belief in the University. This is a big step forward for a University that prides itself on being a secular institute. This policy, and the supplementary guidelines, are thought to be the first step toward making adequate Quiet Room provision across campus with talks about a potential multi-faith centre on Park Place.
Right now, the Students’ Union is widely consulting students on the policy and guidelines to ensure they meet student requirement where possible. Please read both documents attached below and email Sally Airey, the Societies, Postgraduate and International Officer, with your comments at aireys1@cardiff.ac.uk
