Complaints and Appeals

 

Candidates found to be in breach of any of the campaign rules or regulations will be dealt with by the Returning Officer or the Deputy Returning Officer.

How to make a complaint:

All complaints must be received within 24 hours of the incident occurring, and must reach the democracy team in writing by the close of voting at 9pm on Tuesday 18th March.  Please email all complaints to elections@cardiff.ac.uk and make sure you have included the following information:

-  Details of the incident

-  Evidence

-  Which regulation has been broken

-  What you are asking us to do about it

The Returning Officer will be reviewing and ruling on all complaints by 10am on Wednesday 19th March, prior to the commencement of the count.
