All motions for the forthcoming AGM must be submitted by 5pm on Thursday 14th February 2008, to agm@cardff.ac.uk
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Students' Union's democracy team on 02920 781411
Motions must be written using the following format:

1. This Union Notes: this section sets out details of the current situation and contains factual information which is required or helpful in reading the remainder of the motion. Any statements contained within this section should be evidence-based.
2. This Union Believes: this section sets out the stance you feel the Students' Union should take on the above issue; statements which you, the proposer, believe to be true. These statements can be questionable or debatable as they are beliefs and not facts. Items contained in this section generally give the Union's reasons for carrying out a specific action.
3. This Union Resolves: this section sets out your proposal for action, or what you believe should happen as a result of the passing of the policy.
