Student Volunteering Cardiff is one of the U.K's largest student led volunteering organisations. We currently have approximately 900 volunteers working on more than 35 projects with disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Cardiff.
Our projects include working with children and young people with a disability, working in a homeless drop in centre, helping people with mental health problems, and working with adults with learning disabilities in a community garden.
The projects are rewarding so it's fun and fulfilling. You will meet loads of new people through our regular socials such as pub quizzes and a Winter Ball. Through the experience you will gain valuable skills which will increase your chances of gaining employment or going onto postgraduate study.
You can choose to volunteer for as few or as many hours as you can spare. With projects having one-off, weekly and monthly commitments we can find the placement to suit you.
Just pop into the SVC office on the 3rd floor in the Students' Union for any questions or queries!
