Welcome to the official website of Cardiff University Students' Union. We are a democratic, representative, membership organisation, which means that we are run by students, for students. We are an active, campaigning organisation, operating independently of Cardiff University and according to the needs and wishes of our 25,000 student members. As part of our mission to enhance your university experience, we endeavour to provide a variety of services and facilities for students, and so we encourage you to explore the site and get involved.
At the head of the Students' Union is an Executive Committee of full- and part-time paid elected student representatives that has been voted for by you, the student body. It is the Executive Committee's job to ensure that we are engaging with you and acting in your interests at all times. By representing your views on an institutional, local and national level, the team is responsible for addressing the issues that affect the 25,000 students at Cardiff University. They propose new ways to move both the Students' Union and the University forward, helping both organisations to modernise and progress.
