Unistaff Jobshop is a free service which provides all registered Cardiff University students and students from any UK university with a central starting point in their search for casual employment. We operate both as an introductory service to local employers as well as a temporary recruitment agency (Unistaff) which offers part-time, temporary and vacation jobs within the Students' Union, the University and local companies. When you register with the Jobshop you become eligible to use both services and will be kept updated with new vacancies as they arise via email. All jobs advertised, whether internal or external, pay at least the adult National Minimum Wage of £5.52, regardless of age. If you would like to register with Unistaff Jobshop, please come and see us. You can find us in the Mall on the ground floor of the Students' Union building. We are open Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm (11am-3pm during University holidays). Please bring the following:
Vacancies with local companies are advertised here on the website. If you would like more information on any of these, please come into the Jobshop. Vacancies available via Unistaff, our recruitment agency, are advertised on the Jobshop notice boards and emailed to you once you have registered with us. These change on a daily basis, so it is important to check the boards regularly.
