Cardiff University Students' Union Advice and Representation Centre

The Student Advice Centre is situated on the third floor of the Students' Union building.
We are open every weekday, including holidays. We offer a drop-in service between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm or you can make an appointment to see an Adviser between 1 pm and 3 pm

The University operates a Health Service to supplement that provided by your General Practitioner (Doctor). Remember, this services can not replace your GP, and you must still be registered with a local surgery.

The Health Centre is open from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. A slightly restricted service is available during the recesses. For appointments or to speak to a nurse, please phone (do not email). You may also call in without an appointment.

All new students should have supplied the Health Centre with a Health Questionnaire.


Cardiff University Counselling Service

The Counselling Service is confidential and available to Cardiff University students free of charge. It has had international recognition as a Centre for Excellence for individual and group counselling.

FEES
10 weeks to 2 years - £15.00 per half day
2 years to 3 years - £14.50 per half day
3 years to 5 years - £13.50 per half day
Dinner money - £2.00 per day
Outsider supplement - £2.60 per half day
Fees are subject to variation during the session.
Reduction of fees may be made for Cardiff University students enrolled on full-time courses who cannot afford standard fee. Application forms may be obtained from the Student Advisory Service, 50 Park Place. The Fee Remissions Group will consider applications each term, on a means-tested basis. The Remission Fund is provided by the University and the Students' Union.
