On arrival:
All medical students
should report to Dr John Green in the Postgraduate seminar room at 09:00 at the start of the block.All surgery students
should report to Miss H Sweetland, Anaesthetic seminar room UHW at 09:00 at the start of the block.Students following Child Health
should report to Dr D Tuthill's Office situated within the Antenatal Corridor.Students following Obstetrics and Gynaecology
should report to Jacqui Scott, situated within the Maternity Corridor.There will be a list of accommodation in your starter pack.
Timetables will be provided for individual students at the start of their attachment.
Facilities:
Student MessA new Student Lounge adjacent to the new Doctors Mess is available for student use. It is situated on the RMO landing which is on the first floor opposite the Diabetes Investigation Unit.
Food
The dining room is open for breakfast, lunch, supper and late night (11pm - 2am)
The coffee lounge opening times are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 2pm - 6pm on the weekends.
Public Phones
Public telephones are situated at the entrance, in the main ground floor square and at various areas within the hospital.
Banks
There is a national Westminster bank, opening hours are Monday to Thursday 10am to 2.30pm.
Lockers
There are 90 lockers available for student use. They are situated within the Female/Male toilet area on the first left as you enter the On-Call Corridor. £1 returnable deposit.

Car Parking:
Parking charges are 80p for 24 hours or you can buy a monthly car parking ticket from the Cashiers, situated to the left of the main reception. Prices vary according to the amount of hours that you are allocated at Llandough per week.Bleep:
There are five bleeps available for medical students obtainable from the front desk at the main reception and others via the undergraduate office. It is the student's responsibility to return the bleep once they have finished using it.Library:
The Archie Cochrane Library is situated on the ground floor, just along the west corridor from the central square of the hospital.
