Working at the end of your studies
**These notes are not a full-statement of the law and are intended for guidance onlyIf you are coming to the end of your studies in the UK, you may wonder whether there is any possibility of staying on in the UK to work. There are a number of schemes available to international students which are listed below.
These schemes change frequently, therefore if you are Thinking of staying on to work after your studies please call into the Advice Centre for further information.
Remember that if you want to stay in the UK under one of these schemes, you must make your application before your current permission to be here as a student runs out.
Note: If your studies have been sponsored by a government or international sponsorship agency, your application is complicated. It is essential that you do not submit an application without first seeking advice from an immigration specialist.
