This may be done if a serious incident occurs, or complaints made about a driver.Following an accident, an investigation will be launched into the circumstances surrounding it. It may be decided upon conference with the finance department and insurers of the vehicle that the driver is banned from using Union or Union hired/insured vehicles for a period of time. The nominal recommended period is one (1) academic year. This may be increased if circumstances dictate.
