Welcome to the Transport section of Cardiff University Students' Union on the Cardiff Students Homepage. Hopefully these pages will tell you all you need to know about transport at the Union. If these pages cannot help you then please email the relevent addresses the bottom of this page. Aso provided is a list of people and their numbers who should be of most help to you with you driving queries. However, you first stop should be these pages, the email contacts and the Transport Coordinator.
The Transport section is currently being renovated, with
changes to the booking and driving systems being brought
into place. Please continue to check these pages to keep
yourselves updated on the current transport policies.
We have now moved to the new online booking system. To book you must be the registered booker for your club/society, and you will recieve a username and password for the login page, access through the link from this page.
Clubs - Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the last AU council, I have emailed all the club contacts that the AU have with details. I will be at the next AU council to answer questions.
Societies - Please proceed as informed at Societies council.
To book, Click on the Ebooking link below and proceed as follows:
Enter your username and password, and you will be redirected to the booking page.
Fill in all the information it askes for, you will not be able to submit it if the form has not been filled in correctly.
The Form is only able to be submited when the boxes have been filled correctly and between the hours of 0800 and 2400. It is possible to check the validity of the entered data by not checking the terms and conditions box. this is the last piece of data that the form validates, if you have no error messages check the box and submit between the appropriate times. If you do have error messages correct them until only the terms and conditions error appears, check and submit.
Ebooking, as now, can only take place up to 28 days (4 weeks) in advance. This can be broken only on a friday, where the program will let you book up to the friday 4 weeks on, plus the saturday and sunday.
For example, if you require transport for saturday the 10/12/05 you will be able to book this from Friday 11/11/05.
Bookings outside of termtime, while not written into the program yet, will need to come and see me in person. Also Bookings for next term will only be taken from the first day of that term.
