CARDIFF NIGHTLINE
Need a friendly ear?
Looking for information about university and the Cardiff area?
Looking for information about university and the Cardiff area?
NIGHTLINE is a confidential, non-judgemental listening, information and referral service, run by students for students. We open from 8pm til 8am as many nights as we can to offer a phoneline and drop-in service when other facilities in the university are not available.
You don't have to be at crisis point to ring us - sometimes we all need to pour our troubles out to a friendly listening ear. We have a huge variety of information in the house too, so if you need to know anything regarding the university or the Cardiff area, we'll do our best to help. As well as all this, we also provide free condoms.

Interested in volunteering? Next training weekend - 9th and 10th October
Nightline is an entirely student run organisation and as such, we are always in need of new volunteers to keep our service up and running. Are you a good listener? Would you be willing to give up a few nights each semester to be there for other people?
You don't any experience or previous training - all you need to do is turn up to our October training weekend on the 9th and 10th (you have to attend both days)to be qualified to do duties.
No dates have yet been set for training - when they have been confirmed, we will post them on this site.
