And now a bit about the Union
The CU has 2 aims; 'Mission and Maturity'. With Respect to the 1st aim, Jesus commanded us to, "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28.19). Cardiff University is our mission field and we seek to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ around the Uni to help fulfil the Great Commission through friendship and events. For more information see the Evangelism pageThe 2nd Aim is for students to meet together and through God's word, the Bible, to mature our individual faith. We meet on a weekly basis (every Friday night). We usually have a time of worship and then different speakers each week share with us from the Bible. There are also House and Hall groups which also meet weekly to study the Bible together. We have an annual Houseparty, where we are taught from God's word and also have fellowship together.
The CU is an interdenominational, evangelical organisation, which both Christians and non-Christians are welcome to attend, for more info look at our main website. www.cfcu.co.uk
