AIESEC is the world's largest student-managed, non-profit educational organization. It was created in 1948 by students from seven countries across Europe. Since then, we have been dedicated to helping young people around the globe develop their skills through unique international exchange programmes and associated projects. Through these activities students develop a broader understanding of cultural, corporate, managerial and economic issues.
Underlying everything we do is a drive to make a positive contribution to society. Year on year, we are successfully expanding our programmes and improving our projects. Today our 13,000 members, most of whom are undergraduate volunteers, are active in over 740 academic institutions in 84 countries. We now enjoy working partnerships with a wide variety of companies from all industries in the corporate sector, as well as with non-governmental and governmental organisations.
