The Medical International Society is based on the appreciation and mutual understanding of different cultures. Most of us have experienced the difficulty of settling in a new country. Yet coming to Cardiff is an ideal opportunity to learn about British culture and make friends from all over the world.
Our main goals:
-To help international students settle down in Cardiff by providing advice and support
-To create an effective network with senior students and healthcare professionals (comes in handy when you need advice on academic issues, job prospects, further education)
-Helping underprivileged children in developing countries to receive food, medication and education by organizing "Hope for Child" Charity, jointly organized with United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), UK.
