IMG Netball
There is no restriction on squad numbers but players that have played for the A team are not eligible to then play for the B team. Teams found fielding A team players in B team Fixtures will be deducted points.
1.The first league game will be on the Wednesday 18th October.
2.There will be 4 pools of 6 teams this semester these will then form 3 divisions of 8 teams after Christmas with the top two from each pool forming the premier division and so on.
3.Matches will take place from 13.30 - 7.30 on Wednesday and 10.00-1.00 on Saturday,Taylbont tennis courts.
4.Point Deductions/Penalties
•minus 3 points for not providing an umpire and for not showing for a fixture without at least 48hrs notice to the other captain/IMG co ordinator.
•+20 Goal Difference for the opposition in the event of a team illegally forfeiting, as outlined above.
5. AU Membership
•All players must be students/staff of Cardiff University.
•All players must be registered with the AU.
•Captians will be responsible in ensuring that players are registered and that they have bring their red AU card with them to all IMG league fixtures.
•Spot Checks will take place and in the event of teams unregistered players a point deduction will be imposed.
•The fielding of illegal players and unregistered players has been a major issue within the IMG system in previous years. It will NOT be tolerated, any team found fielding illegal players will be removed from the competition.
6.Team Sheets
•A Team Sheet will be emailed to all team captains.
•This will need to be filled in and emailed to img@cardiff.ac.uk by midday the day after the fixture takes place.
•Players that have appeared in the 'A' team more on more than one occasion will not be eligible for the 'B' team fixtures. The only time this may occur is with prior permission from the IMG Coordinator.
