- Key component in the Rowing Club for over two years, both as a competitor and as a committee member.
- Ensured a much fuller competition schedule and successfully doubled the number of events attended by the university.
- As President he has worked very hard to reform the structure of the committee and the day-to-day running of the club.
- Secured support from Concept 2 Ltd in the founding of a Welsh Universities Indoor Rowing Championship, which has the potential to be a massive event and a very successful money earner for the rowing club.
- Worked hard to ensure that everyone is given a chance by developing and implementing the development squad.
- Spent countless hours on the river coaching pretty much every squad, including the 25 strong novice men's squad.
- Completed the 50km Boston Marathon and raised over £1000 for the club.
- Negotiated a deal with Llandaff RC and secured a home for the clubs 3 new Concept 2 ergometers and has recently purchased a full set of brand new, state of the art blades for the Women's squad.
- Began to test the water with WARA and Cardiff Council about the clubs possible move down to the Bay, which would be a massive benefit to the club and could transform them into a premier league club.

- Winner of the first Individual BUSA Swimming medals for Cardiff since 1997, in November.
- Bronze in the 50meters and 200meters Backstroke and made the final of the 100meters Backstroke at the BUSA Short Course Swimming Championships.
- At the Long Course Championships in February she narrowly missed out on Bronze in both the 50 and 200 meters Backstroke, finishing fourth in both.
- Made the final in the 200meters Individual Medley.
- The fact that she made 6 finals in one year, whereas last year Cardiff didn't have a single finalist highlights this huge achievement.
