The BIG Weekend 29-30th May 2004
We had a piss-up on the pitch at Llanrumney - I was dying after drinking the union dry the night before (was very nearly sick on the way there!!). Everyone wanted to be on the Cat's team because no-one fancied chasing the ball to the boundary! Cas bought supplies in the form of Burger King which cheered many including Katy who had a sly nibble on the Whopper!We went to Bisrto 116 for a team dinner. Awards were given: Cat-player of the year, Hobbit-dedication to the team, Kirstern-most improved player, Dannii-fresher of the year and Anna-muppet of the year! There were given suitable presents! A night on the tiles followed, with a trip to Gassy's followed by a bit of Come Play action (for most except Dannii and Cat).
Crazy dancing followed, with the handbags in the middle (it's an ESSEX tradition!!). A massive guy knocked me to the floor whilst trying to lift me by my ankles, and then fell on top of me! Painful! Everyone was home before tucked up in bed preparing for the match on Sun.
We kicked some Southampton arse! Semi-finals here we come....
