Ministry of Muggles
Cardiff University Harry Potter Society
Founded in September 2005 by dental students Julia and Sam, the Ministry of Muggles is Cardiff University’s official Harry Potter society.

The society works hard to provide a wide array of socials for its members, both Harry Potter-themed and otherwise. We regularly have quiz nights and discussions, as well as cinema trip and big events such as our trip to the Goblet of Fire premiere in 2005. In December 2006, we hosted our first Yule Ball and were joined by several other societies. The event was repeated in December 2006 to great success.
Of course, this doesn’t happen by magic, and is all down to the committee, a group of students from all over the university who make this all possible.
