Heya everyone Welcome to the English Language & Communication Society website. We would just like to introduce ourselves as your committee for 07/08, we are all 2nd year lang comm students: ALISON DAIRY (PRESIDENT) LAURA MORGAN (SECRETARY) KATY SMOWTON (TREASURER) FLAVIA ESPOSITO (PUBLICITY OFFICER) JESS KELLY (SOCIAL SECRETARY) RACHEL ROBBINS (EVENTS OFFICER) email: englishlanguageandcommunication@cardiff.ac.uk Our society hold socials once a month on Mondays. Check the facebook group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5801334907 the 5th floor humanities notice board and your cardiff emails regularly for upcoming events and news. We are planning trips to BBC Wales and Jeremy Kyle at the moment. Partly for fun and partly to gain a better understanding of the Broadcasting/Media industry relatingto the course. We recently held our ENCAP glitter ball on 7th feb 08. It was a huge success and a really great night. Pictures will be on facebook and the 5th floor noticeboard.
