Please beware of this web scam focused at students:

A company marketing itself as either Web Loyalty or Shoppers Discount is taking payments of around £8.00 from peoples’ credit cards with only cursory permission. They add their details onto a normal web transaction by providing a tick box saying: ‘Do you want a £10 cash back voucher’. The small print reveals there is a monthly payment of £8.00 which you are liable for.

If you think this has affected you then call 0808 234 1539 to cancel the payment.
