The Rummer Tavern
Black-and-white pub on Duke Street, opposite Cardiff Castle. This is one of the Garrison's main haunts, particularly in the winter months when its too wet for reenacting.
Cardiff Castle
Site of most of the Garrison's training sessions, as well as the location of some of our summer shows. It's on Duke Street, in the centre of Cardiff ... it's pretty hard to not notice. :)
Cosmeston Medieval Village
Our other main summer show site. Cosmeston is about 30 minutes out of central Cardiff. You can go by bus: stand W1 in Cardiff Central Bus Station. The bus route is the 94 and you get off at Cosmeston Lakes. For timetables see here. If you are driving, the main entrance to Cosmeston can be found on the B4267 Lavernock Road from Sully to Penarth.
Coventry Reenactors Market
We organise a trip to the November market every year for our members, particularly new members, to get good quality authentic kit. There is also a Spring market which we do not organise a trip to. For information on the market and how to get there (if you aren't going as part of a Garrison trip) see here.
Previous shows have also been at:
Oxwich Castle, Raglan Castle and the New Forest Agricultural Show. Directions will be posted if and when shows are confirmed at these venues.
