CARDIFF UNIVERSITY SWIMMING AND WATERPOLO CLUB
Cardiff University Swimming and Water Polo Club is THE most succesful club in The AU. The mens water polo team has won the BUSA championship 4 times between 1999 and 2002, and came a close third in last year's BUSA finals.
The women's team have been regular BUSA semi-finalists over the past decade and in 2002 went one step further and reached the finals, eventually finishing third. They managed to build on that success with a thrilling second place in the previous BUSA competition.
The swimming team competes in the BUSA long and short course nationals. This year they will be striving for promotion to the first division of the BUSA team championship.
The success is founded on good coaching and developement within the club, which means that anyone is welcome to join no matter what the starting level.
The club is one of the most active clubs socially, with regular socials and team events.
