The Guild of Societies will be taking over Freshers' on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd September, with completely different societies represented each day. Come along and meet all of our fantastic Societies in the Great Hall and Y Plas.

As part of a Society, you'll be able to meet like-minded people, discover the passion you never knew you had and make the best friends a student could wish for. From Baking to Debating, Skydiving to Stitch, there really is something for everyone. Check out our full list of societies here. You'll also be able to find out about Society Give it a Go events, so you can try before you buy!
Societies will be showing off all that they can offer their members, so expect the unexpected. There'll be spectacular performances, live music and outrageous costumes.
Today, we also have our brilliant Campaign Officer Team. These students ensure that underrepresented students have a voice. So if you're an International student, LGBT+, a Woman, speak Welsh, are Black or an Ethnic Minority or a Student with a Disability, or if you want to ensure your Union is ethical and environmentally friendly, come and meet them.
You'll also be able to find out more about some of the services the University provides. We have people joining us from the Student Support Services, Cardiff Award, Coleg Cymraeg, the University Chaplaincies and University Sport.
Also joining us are a whole host of local and national companies who'll be giving out all manner of freebies.
