The Spanish and Italian Society will be hosting a night of Venetian style indulgence on Wednesday 20th February from 8pm til late! Taking its name from the sweet Venetian celebrations of the Dolce Carnival, this is Cardiff's answer to the traditional Italian masquerade ball, complete with plenty of free treats to satisfy any sweet tooth!
Throughout February in the Northern Italian region of Veneto, above all in fair Verona where Romeo famously met Juliet, Valentine's celebrations take over the streets, so naturally there will be a fitting Valentine's theme, complete with Valentine's inspired games and competitions for all you romantics out there!
The dress code is formal and masquerade: in true Venetian style, the more decadent and extravagant the better and there will be free shots of love potion for the most exceptional efforts!
