Friends of MSF essentially are a small proportion of Cardiff students committed to raising awareness and funds for MSF. Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) exists to save lives by providing medical aid where it is needed most – in armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters. 90 percent of their income comes from individual donations (from people like us here in Cardiff!). This allows them to stay independent, neutral and impartial - and therefore access those in greatest need quickly. We get together, organize a gig or two, a cake sale, cosy movie nights and our beautiful annual carol concert. An excuse for like minded people, to come together and do some good.
