Welcome to Cardiff University GeoPlan Society! The society is run by (and made for) Geography and Planning students from various years, but is open to all.
We are a student-led society aiming to improve your university experience in and out of lectures. We understand that managing your degree and your social life can be difficult at times, especially when first moving to university. We organise loads of social events throughout the year that cater to all social groups, including the end of year ball that has previously been held in Cardiff Museum, in the Principality Stadium, Portland House and The Mercure.
So please follow us on Instagram and join the group on Facebook so you can keep up to date with events and socials throughout the year. These are also places that are useful for asking questions to your fellow students whether it be about socials or university work (we promise we are friendly and happy to help!).
This year we are hoping to get a closer link between the society and the academic School of Geography and Planning so we will be doing some socials with staff members and fellow students.
